Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Children aged 5 to 12 years of age. 2)Clinically diagnosed cases of Vataja Kasa as per Ayurvedic signs and symptoms. 3)Both female and male sex. 4)Willingness of parents/guardians to provide informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Age below 5 years and above 12 years were excluded Children diagnosed with non-Vataja types of Kasa, such as Kaphaja, Pittaja, Kshayaja Kasa. 2)Children with acute or chronic systemic diseases, including heart disease, renal disease, epilepsy, or congenital anomalies. 3)Ongoing participation in another clinical trial.

MeasureTime frame
To assess and compare the improvement in the clinical signs and symptoms of Vataja Kasa in children treated with Kantakari Ghrita and Dadimadi Ghrita, based on subjective assessment parameters including Kasa Vega (frequency of cough), Vega Pariksha (duration/intensity of cough bouts), Ura Shoola (chest pain), Shirashoola (headache), Sushka Mukha-Gala (dryness of mouth and throat), and Swarabheda (hoarseness of voice) before and after treatment.Timepoint: 7 days

MeasureTime frame
1)To evaluate the individual therapeutic efficacy of Kantakari Ghrita in the management of Vataja Kasa in children. 2)To evaluate the individual therapeutic efficacy of Dadimadi Ghrita in the management of Vataja Kasa in children. 3)To compare the percentage of symptomatic relief produced by both interventions during the study period. 4)To assess the safety and tolerability of both Ghrita formulations in children during the treatment period.Timepoint: 7 days
