Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 18 to 65 years. Diagnosis of Functional Constipation according to Rome IV Criteria (symptoms present for at least 3 months). Minimum of 2 and maximum of 3 spontaneous bowel movements (SBMs) per week during the run in period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Evidence of organic bowel disease (e.g., IBD, colorectal cancer). Secondary constipation (hypothyroidism, diabetes, or medication-induced). Pregnancy, lactation or planning pregnancy during the study. Recent use (within 14 days) of fibre supplements, probiotics, or laxatives.
