Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Phase 1 Prevalence Phase Diagnosed cases of rheumatoid arthritis by orthopaedic surgeon Patients with diagnosis of stage 1-3 as confirm on x-ray Age between 18 and 65 years Clinical involvement of hand joints metacarpophalangeal and or proximal interphalangeal joints Presence of chronic hand pain pain duration more than months Score more than 26 from MoCA scale Willingness to participate and provide written informed consent Phase 2 Intervention Phase Participants will be selected from Phase 1 INCLUSION CRITERIA Participants identified with proprioceptive impairment of the hand, defined as o Joint Position Error JPE values higher difference leads higher error Presence of kinesiophobia defined as o Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia TSKscoremore than 37 indicating clinically relevant fear of movement Presence of Cognitive defined as o MoCA scale of score mpre than 26 Presence of chronic pain, defined as o Pain duration of more than 3 months Pain intensity more than 4 on the Numeric Pain Rating Scale NPRS indicating at least moderate pain Ability to actively participate in robotic hand training sessions Willingness to continue participation throughout the intervention period and provide informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of neurological disorders affecting upper limb function Recent hand surgery or fracture in the past 6 months Severe hand deformities preventing assessment Other inflammatory or degenerative hand conditions
