Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Healthy patients (ASA I&II) 2. Teeth to be free of caries, fracture or discolouration, healthy periodontal status, no periapical changes in the radiograph, no pain on percussion or palpation and complete formation of root apex. 3. Negative history of maxillofacial trauma. 4. Normal response cold test and EPT.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Primary teeth. 2. Immunocompromised or pregnant patients. 3. Internal or external resorption, pulp chamber calcification

1. To compare dental oxygen saturation levels with systemic oxygen saturation measured from the patient s index finger (positive control). 2. To compare oxygen saturation levels of vital teeth with those of root canal treated teeth (negative control). 3. To evaluate differences in oxygen saturation values across various tooth types.
