Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: married female with symptoms of- vaginal discharge, lower abdominal & pelvic pain, low backache, dysuria, dyspareunia. willing to participate & signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: pregnancy, lactation, menopause HIV, VDRL, malignancy & TB systemic disorders recent use of antibiotics known hypersensitivity to trial drugs

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Patient shall improve in major symptoms Vaginal discharge, urinary symptoms & pelvic painTimepoint: Assessment of all parameters at initiation of study at 0 day then day 7 & at 14th day of 3 consecutive menstrual cycles.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Improvement in quality of life Questionnaire Patient compliance with the pessary compared to the traditional ointment Timepoint: Assessment of all parameters at initiation of study at day 0 then day 7 & at day 14 for 3 consecutive menstrual cycle.
