Intervention1: Moringa Oleifera Leaves Extract Gel (2%): In treatment phase, individuals in INTERVENTIONAL GROUP A will be advised to apply 2% Moringa Oleifera gel topically on the affected oral muco

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged between 18 to 60 years of age of either gender. 2. Patients with clinically diagnosed cases of symptomatic reticular/erosive oral lichen planus. 3. Patients with OLP who have not received any treatment for the lesions in the past 4 weeks will be included. 4. Patient voluntarily willing to be a part of the study after signing the informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant or breast feeding women. 2. Patients on any other drugs, or steroids either topically or systemically or with chronic debilitating diseases who are on long term medications. 3. Patients with any other associated oral disorder such as leukoplakia, OSMF. 4. Patients prone to acidity and any other gastric problems.

Following Parameters will be assessed: A)Burning Sensation: The intensity of burning sensation will be recorded using VAS (Visual Analog Scale) . B)Size of the lesion: The size of the lesion will be determined by measuring the distance between two opposite outer edges of the borders using a caliper. Then, lesions will be scored according to Thongprasom scoring system. Timepoint: Above mentioned parameters will be assessed on Day 0, Day 7, Day 14,Day 28.	—
