Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient of either sex with age 65 years and above for elective non cardiac surgery undergoinggeneral anesthesa with endotracheal intubation using vecuronium as neuromuscular blocking agent after taking written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known any kind of allergy to study medication Severe renal or hepatic impairement Pre existing cognitive impairement Patient taking any antipsychotic and antidepressants medication
