Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients undergoing fixed orthodontic treatment with brackets and arch wires. 2.Good baseline oral health prior to study (no active caries or untreated periodontal disease). 3.At least six natural teeth in each quadrant (excluding third molars), free of crowns or prosthetic restorations. 4.No periodontal pocket depth greater than 3 mm and no clinical attachment loss greater than 2 mm

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Smokers
