Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inborn preterm infants born between 28 weeks 0 days and 36 weeks 6 days of gestation. Infants born from singleton or twin pregnancies (maximum two babies). Hemodynamically stable at birth, defined as effective breathing effort, heart rate more than 100 beats per minute, and not requiring immediate positive pressure ventilation. Written informed parental consent obtained before delivery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Preterm infants with poor condition at birth, defined as depressed breathing effort, reduced muscle tone, or heart rate less than 100 beats per minute. Infants with major congenital anomalies diagnosed before birth. Intrauterine fetal death. Hydrops fetalis. Infants who underwent intrauterine procedures such as fetal blood transfusion, laser therapy, or amnioreduction.
