Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with a residual bone height of 4-6 mm in the maxillary region, specifically in the maxillary first molar region Systemically healthy patients. No scarring, ulceration on edentulous ridge. Non-Smokers or Controlled Smokers. Patients willing for voluntary participation and have signed informed consent for the described procedure. Patient motivated for Implant therapy and maintaining good oral hygiene. No contraindication for dental implant surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient with migraine and vertigo. Patients with parafunctional habits, mucositis, radiation therapy, orofacial tumors, Temporomandibular Disorders Immunocompromised patients Grafted site (previous implant placement) Patients requiring Direct sinus lift procedure Patient of chronic and aggressive periodontitis Uncooperative patients with limited mouth opening ability Psychologically compromised patients. Unfavorable intermaxillary arch space Patients with maxillary sinus disease. Pregnant and lactating female patients.

MeasureTime frame
Implant stability In both techniques, before cover screw placement primary implant stability will be recorded with OSSTELL mentor by placing the pegs and recording the data. Then cover screw and suture will be given. Primary Implant stability will be checked at the time of Implant placement (baseline) and Secondary implant stability after 6 months of implant placement Timepoint: Implant stability In both techniques, before cover screw placement primary implant stability will be recorded with OSSTELL mentor by placing the pegs and recording the data.
