Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Singleton pregnancy with gestational age of more than or equal to 37 weeks with cephalic presentation having valid indication for induction of labour with unfavourable cervix with bishop less than or equal to 4
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1 Prior uterine scar such as previous caesarean or myomectomy 2 Major uterine anomaly 3 Non reassuring fetal heart rate 4 Multiple pregnancies 5 Contraindications to vaginal delivery 6 Hypersensitivity to prostaglandins 7 Medical illnesses contraindicating the use of prostaglandins
