Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. CT including C1 C2 2. Adequate image quality 3. Available DICOM with MPR 4. Strict adherence to Case (Grade greater and equal to 2) or Control (Grade 0)thresholds.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Rheumatoid arthritis/inflammatory disease 2. Prior C0 C2 surgery 3. Trauma or deformity 4. Tumor/infection 5. Poor image standardization

1.Facet orientation angles (in degrees) - Axial, coronal, and sagittal plane measurements at C1 C2 2.Association between facet geometry and severity of AAOA - Based on CT grading (Grade 0 3) 3.Pattern of disease involvement -Unilateral vs bilateral atlantoaxial osteoarthritis 4. Association of facet tropism and orientation with anatomical covariates, including: High-riding vertebral artery (HRVA) Calcific synovitis Atlanto-dens osteoarthritis Age and sex Timepoint: No followup visit is required.
