Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. College going female students between the age group of 17 to 25 years. 2. Patient with Hb%within the range of 8 to 11.9gm /dl . 3. Patients who are willing to sign the written consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient with known Haematological condition such as Sideroblastic anemia, Sickle cell anemia, Thalassemia major and minor. 2. Patient with the current Acute infection, Helminthic infection and Fever that may temporarily affect the hemoglobin level. 3. Certain Chronic disease, such as Cancer, HIV/AIDS, Rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn s disease , Liver disease, Renal disease, Cardiac disease, Haemorrhoids, Thyroid disorders, Diabetes mellitus etc. 4. Other Chronic inflammatory disease, that can interfere with the production of RBCs. 5. Pregnant and lactating women. 6. Patient who had Acute or Chronic blood loss. 7. Patient having addiction of alcohol, tobacco and drugs. 8. Patient already undergoing iron, folic acid or multivitamin therapy.
