Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients Aged 30-70 Years of Either Sex ASA Physical Status I-III Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients and Non-Diabetic Patients Scheduled for Elective Surgery Under General Anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known Gastroparesis Unrelated to Diabetes History of Upper GI or Bariatric Surgery Medications Affecting Gastric Motility Within 48 Hours Opioids or Prokinetic Drugs Pregnancy Type 1 Diabetes Antidepressants Smoking Nasogastric Tube In-Situ Hypothyroidism Chronic Kidney Disease
