Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18 to 60 years of either sex belonging to ASA physical status I and II undergoing elective non obstetric surgeries under general anaesthesia. Patients with simulated difficult airway using cervical collar and who provide informed written consent will be included.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal. History of laryngeal or tracheal surgery or pathology. Bronchial asthma or active upper respiratory tract infection. Patients with any coexisting systemic illness. Patients with increased intracranial pressure. Patients on antidepressants or anxiolytics. Patients at risk of aspiration or not adequately fasted. ASA physical status III and IV patients.
