Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Newly registered patients of both males and females from the outpatient services of the Department of psychiatry, RIMS. Diagnosed cases of schizophrenia as per DSM-5 criteria. who have not practice yoga earlier. Age group of 18 to 60 years. willing to practice yoga for at least 3 months. Total score on the PANSS (Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale) less than 90.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with severe psychotic symptoms or any other comorbid psychiatric disorders. Tobacco users of any form. Intoxicant substances abusers. Patients on medication for any other disease excluding those prescribed for schizophrenia.
