Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients age greater than or equal to 18 years of age diagnosed with anal fissure and willing to provide informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with psychiatric illness Patients non-compliant or unable to complete questionnaires. Patients undergoing emergency surgery.
