Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients having symptoms of Ghrishta vrana (Abrasion)[pain, swelling, redness, raw or scraped skin, mild bleeding or oozing]. 2) Patients within age from 18 to 60 years. 3) Patients irrespective of their religion, sex, socio-economical status. 4) Wounds that occur within 6 hours after an injury. 5) Area of abrased wound within 32 cm .

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Diagnosed patients of known case of Diabetic wounds, Burn wound, Bedsore etc. 2)Patients having bleeding disorder. 3)patients having immune compressive disease. 4)patient with polytrauma will be excluded. 5)extremely malnourished

To assess the efficacy of Atasyadi malahara in the management of Ghrishta vrana with special reference to abrased woundTimepoint: Application on 0th day and followups on 2nd, 5th, 10th,and 15th day

1)To Study Ghrishta vrana in details as per Ayurvedic literature. 2)To study wound in details as per to modern aspect. 3)To see the effect of healing of the wound. 4)To study effectiveness Atasyadi Malhara for the treatment Of Ghrishta vrana (ropan chikistha.) 5) To compare efficacy of Atasyadi Malhara with Betadine.Timepoint: Application on 0th day and followups on 2nd, 5th, 10th,and 15th day
