Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary outcome is the quantitative change in salivary concentrations of fibronectin, statherin, and cathelicidin LL-37 measured before and after dental treatment in children with early childhood caries.Timepoint: Baseline (pre-treatment) and post-treatment follow-up after 2 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Comparison of salivary biomarker levels between ICDAS-based groups 1.Correlation between biomarker levels and caries severity (ICDAS scores) 2.Within-group analysis of pre- and post-treatment changes 3.Assessment of clinical improvement following treatmentTimepoint: Baseline (pre-treatment) and post-treatment follow-up after 2 months
