Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing elective surgery under general anesthesia lasting 2-4 hours.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Patient s Refusal - Anticipated or unanticipated difficult airway - Smokers, pregnant women - Known allergy to study drugs - Respiratory comorbidities (asthma, COPD, chronic bronchitis) - Patients not extubated at the end of surgery - Surgery which can affect outcome such as thyroid surgery
