Interventions

Intervention1: Bio C Repair: Pulpotomy procedure will be performed under local anesthesia and rubber dam isolation. Caries excavation will be completed and the coronal pulp will be removed. Hemostasis

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Primary molars with clinical symptoms of irreversible pulpitis which are restorable. More than 2/3rd of root present.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Clinical signs of extensive pulpal infection like pathologic tooth mobility, soft tissue swelling, or presence of a sinus tract. Pre-operative radiograph showed signs of periapical radiolucency, pathological root resorption or physiological root resorption more than one third the root length.

Combined clinical and radiographic success of pulpotomy in primary molars treated with Biodentine and Bio C Repair defined by absence of pain swelling sinus tract abnormal mobility and absence of radiographic pathologyTimepoint: 1 month 3 months and 6 months

MeasureTime frame
Postoperative pain following pulpotomy assessed using a standardized pain scale. Radiographic success assessed by absence of furcation radiolucency, periapical radiolucency and root resorptionTimepoint: 1 month 3 months and 6 months
