Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients having anterior nasal polyp growth prediagnosed or after anterior rhinoscopic clinical diagnosis in unilateral or bilateral anterior nasal chambers, nasal blockage, obstruction, congestion or nasal discharge, anterior or posterior nasal drip and clinical symptoms associated with nasal polyps with or without pain. Patients having an elevated absolute eosinophil count AEC value of more than 500 cells per microlitre as per peripheral blood examination or relative eosinophils 3 percent of total leukocytes. Peripheral blood eosinophil levels are elevated above the normal reference range. Normal range is 0 to 500 cells per microlitre or 1 to 3 percent of total leukocytes. Age group between 31 to 50 years, all genders. Patients giving voluntary, written informed consent. The present study restricts inclusion to anterior nasal polyps to ensure clinical homogeneity, accurate diagnosis in the outpatient setting and reliable longitudinal assessment. Anterior polyps are directly visualized on anterior rhinoscopy, facilitating standardized baseline and follow up evaluation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who are not adequately symptomatic for anterior nasal polyps presentation. Patients with serious underlying medical conditions. Patients with a history of malignancy. Patients taking any medication or topical steroids before entry into the study but can be enrolled after a 15 days washout period. Patients who do not give informed consent.
