Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients fulfilling diagnostic criteria of Grahani (IBS) having symptoms like Muhur Baddha Drava Mala Pravritti, Muhur Muhur Mala Pravritti, Udara Shoola (abdominal pain), and sense of incomplete evacuation. Diagnosed cases of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) fit for Basti Karma will be included

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with complications (upadrava) of Grahani. Patients suffering from severe systemic diseases which may interfere with treatment. Patients not fit for Basti karma. Pregnant and lactating women. Patients suffering from colonic cancer, ulcerative colitis, Crohn s disease or other serious gastrointestinal disorders will be excluded from the study.
