Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with Gridhrasi (Sciatica) based on Ayurvedic and clinical features. Age between 20 to 60 years. Presence of classical symptoms such as Ruk pain, Toda pricking pain, Stambha stiffness and radiating pain from low back to leg. Positive Straight Leg Raising test. Patients willing to participate and give written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with traumatic injury of spine. Intervertebral disc prolapse with severe neurological deficit. Spinal tumor or infection. Pregnant and lactating women. Patients suffering from severe systemic disorders such as uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, hypertension or cardiac disease. Patients contraindicated for Basti karma.
