Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 AGE:- 18 to 70 years of age 2 One or more hypersensitive teeth with initial lesions of cervical abrasionsgingival recessions 3 Hypersensitive to air and tactile stimulation 5 Schiff cold air blast test score of 2 to 4 6 Visual analogue score for tactile sensitivity of 4 7 Subjects who gave consent to be available for the duration of study and willing to perform good oral hygiene

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Patients with poor oral hygiene 2 Pulpal involvement 3 1 mm loss of dentin 4 Mobility of 1 mm 5 Exposed cervical dentin but not sensitive to air blast or tactile sensitivity 6 Patients with clinical and radiographic pathology 7 Teeth that are abutments for RPD 8 Current usage of anti convulsants, anti histamines, anti depressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, NSAIDS
