Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients classified as American Society of Anaesthesiologists [ASA ] physical status I or II. Age between 18 and 65 years . Adult patients undergoing elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anaesthesia
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Body Mass Index (BMI) greater than 30 kg/m2 2.ASA III and IV 3.Non standard endotracheal tube was inserted [double lumen or neural integrity monitor electromyogram [NIM ] tracheal tube] 4.Nitrous oxide if used to maintain general anaesthesia 5.Indication for surgery if under emergency or unplanned conditions.
