Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of SLE fulfilling the 2019 ACR/EULAR classification criteria 2. Willing and able to provide written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Active malignancy under treatment. 2. Participants taking medication that may affect platelets regeneration. 3. Pregnancy at time of enrolment. 4. Refusal to participate or provide informed consent 5. Patients unlikely to comply with follow-up schedule
