Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient in the age group of 20 to 70 years patients with written and informed consent Patient posted for elective surgeries under General Anaesthesia and Regional Anaesthesia American Society of Anaesthesiologists grading of I and II.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients posted for emergency surgeries Patients with gastrointestinal disturbances Patients below the age of 20 years and above the age of 70 years Local infection Patients diagnosed to have Diabetes mellitus and renal diseases Patients not willing to participate in the study Pregnant Females Obese patients BMI more than 30m2 per kg
