Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Cycling 3 or more sessions per week, each lasting 30 minutes or more, for at least 3 months Insidious onset anterior knee pain for at least 3 months, with VAS score of 3 out of 10 or higher during aggravating activities Pain provoked during at least one cycling-related activity such as prolonged sitting on the saddle, repeated knee flexion, stair ambulation, or squatting Pain on patellar facet palpation or during step-down from 20 centimetres
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Intra-articular knee pathology (meniscus, ligaments, effusion) Hip or lumbar referred pain Prior knee surgery or dislocation NSAID or corticosteroid use within 48 hours prior to baseline testing Other knee conditions (Osgood-Schlatter, patellar tendonitis, ITB syndrome)
