Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients diagnosed with pulp necrosis and symptomatic apical periodontitis in mandibular molar. 2)Patients aged 18-40 years of age 3)Patients with no relevant medical history or absence of any systemic conditions 4)Non-smokers

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients with periodontitis 2)Patients with multiple carious teeth 3) Patients with apical abscess (swelling) &/or sinus tract.

MeasureTime frame
The NLRP3 and MMP-9 levels in GCF may increase and hence detectable in patients with pulp necrosis and symptomatic apical periodontitis but will reduce after endodontic treatment.Timepoint: 1, 3, and 6 months
