Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children aged 4-10 years. Children with ASA I Children requiring holding arch space maintainer Children requiring bilateral band and loop space maintainer Sound and healthy abutment teeth Absence of pathological conditions associated with teeth, gingiva, or periodontium

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Poor oral hygiene Non- compliant patients Children on any medication
