Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patient giving informed consent, Patient planned for elective breast surgeries, ASA Physical score 1, 2, and 3.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patient with chronic opioid addiction, Patient with known hypersensitivity to studied drugs, BMI more than 35kg/m2, Anticipated difficult intubation

| To compare the effects of remifentanil and fentanyl on intraoperative haemodynamic parameters and on post-operative recovery in breast surgeries.Timepoint: On the day of surgery, patient was connected to multiparameter monitors according to the ASA protocols and baseline vitals were noted and patient was induced with standard protocols of general anesthesia with, Patient were infused with iv inj. Remifentanil 2mcg/kg over 60 seconds via infusion pump followed by inj. Remifentanil 0.25mcg/kg/minute infusion till the end of surgery or Patient were infused with iv inj. Fentanyl 2mcg/kg over 60 seconds via infusion pump followed by inj. Fentanyl 0.025mcg/kg/minute infusion till the end of surgery .
