Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: For Patients Patients experiencing their first stroke, specifically diagnosed as a posterior circulation stroke. They are within the early post-stroke phase, defined as 3 to 7 days following the initial cerebrovascular accident. Aged 18 years or older. They are medically stable, allowing safe participation. They can follow verbal and non-verbal instructions. For Healthy Adults Healthy adults age and gender matched with that of PCS patient group
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: For Patients Diagnosis of posterior cerebral artery (PCA) or thalamic stroke, as these may interfere with VOR gain detection; Presence of peripheral vestibular disorders; History of neurological or psychiatric illness; Current or past substance abuse involving alcohol or drugs; History of seizure disorders; Visual or musculoskeletal impairments that could interfere with vHIT assessments. For Healthy Adults Use of medications that affects vestibular or motor functions Cognitive impairments or psychiatric conditions interfering with test compliance Prior history of stroke or any other neurological deficits Visual or auditory impairments affecting balance or gaze.
