Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for intervention group Self-reported healthy with no diagnosed chronic medical or psychiatric conditions; normal physical exam and screening vitals within reference ranges. Not currently taking medications affecting the central nervous system like sedatives, antidepressants, antipsychotics, stimulants. Who have learned SSM from well-trained teacher, regular practitioner minimum 5 days a week, who are practicing SSM for more than 6 months. Inclusion criteria for controls Those who have not learned and practiced SSM. Willing and able to provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Current or past diagnosis of major depressive disorder, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, PTSD, or active suicidality. History of epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, neurodegenerative disorders, or frequent migraines. Diagnosed sleep apnea, narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, chronic insomnia, or excessive daytime sleepiness. Uncontrolled hypertension, ischemic heart disease, diabetes, asthma/COPD requiring daily therapy, or any unstable medical condition. Currently pregnant, breastfeeding Inability to comply with protocol requirements.

Sahaj Samadhi Meditation is expected to enhance emotional resilience and psychological calm by promoting parasympathetic dominance, increased heart rate variability and reduced resting heart rate and respiratory rate, suggesting better cardiac health, stress-free states, emotional balance, and reduced anxiety.Timepoint: One time point study
