Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 50 years and above presenting with intertrochanteric fracture of femur admitted in the Department of Orthopaedics and treated with either Dynamic Hip Screw (DHS) or Proximal Femoral Nail (PFN). Patients willing to participate and provide informed consent will be included.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pathological fractures of femur 2. Polytrauma patients 3. Previous surgery on the affected hip 4. Subtrochanteric extension of fracture 5. Patients not willing to participate in the study 6. Patients medically unfit for surgery
