Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Children indicated for restorative dental procedures 2 Children with no previous dental experience 3 Children who were cooperative or potentially cooperative 4 Children whose parents or guardians provided informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Uncooperative children 2 Children suffering from systemic illness or endocrine disorders 3 Children with special healthcare needs 4 Children on medications affecting cortisol levels 5 Children with previous traumatic dental experiences
