Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1Subjects aged 18 45 years 2Subjects with clinically diagnosed primary hypothyroidism with menstrual irregularities 3Subjects not on conventional hormonal therapy(levothyroxine) for at least 2 months prior to the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1Subjects diagnosed with secondary and tertiary hypothyroidism 2Subjects with hypothyroidism associated with other endocrine disorders (eg PCOS, Diabetes) 3.Subjects with Structural uterine abnormalities which can lead to irregular menses (eg Uterine fibroids, Endometrial polyps, Adenomyosis, Congenital uterine anomalies, Uterine malignancies etc.) 4Subjects already on thyroid hormone replacement unwilling to discontinue 5Pregnant or lactating subjects
