Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Undergoing elective or emergency midline laprotommyny surgical indication

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: . Patient with pre existing wound infection . Immunocompromised pateints ( HIV POSITIVE , UNDERGOING CHEMOTHERAPY,LONG TERM STEROID THERAPY) . Patients undergoing re-laparotomy within 7 days of previous abdominal surgery
