Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: elbow spasticity mild to moderate (MAS 1 to 2) stroke duration two weeks to six months some voluntary control in upper limb

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients receiving anti spasticity medications, those with severe spasticity or flaccidity, co morbid medical conditions, metallic implants, pacemakers, or allergy to magnesium sulphate were excluded.
