Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients aged 18 70 years 2.Patients undergoing elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy for symptomatic cholelithiasis or chronic cholecystitis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.acute cholecystitis 2.gallbladder malignancy 3.coagulopathy.

1.To determine the overall safety and cost-effectiveness along with surgeon preference amongst both metallic clips and hem-o-lok clips . Timepoint: 1.To determine the overall safety and cost-effectiveness along with surgeon preference amongst both metallic clips and hem-o-lok clips .

To evaluate and compare the intraoperative performance of metallic clips versus Hem-o-lok clips and assess the incidence of intraoperative complications such as clip slippage, bile leak, and bleeding and to analyse postoperative outcomes including pain, bile leak, infection, and duration of hospital stay.Timepoint:
