Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with generalized chronic periodontitis with horizontal bone loss requiring periodontal flap surgery in contralateral quadrants, systemically healthy, and willing to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with systemic diseases affecting healing, pregnant or lactating women, smokers or tobacco users, patients on medications influencing periodontal status, and patients unwilling to participate
