Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Molar vital tooth with class 2 caries The tooth is restorable probing pocket depth should be within normal limits no evidence of widening of the periodontal ligament or periradicular changes

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Teeth with caries encroaching on the pulp. 2 Bruxism 3 Tooth positive to tender on percussion. 4 The presence of a sinus tract or swelling. 5 Radiographically, evidence of widening of the periodontal ligament.
