Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18 to 80 years undergoing chest X ray for any clinical indication. Patients with chest X ray images of adequate quality suitable for evaluation of the cervicothoracic region. Patients in whom visualization of the cervical rib region is possible on imaging. Patients who provide informed consent for participation in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with poor quality or incomplete chest X ray images. Patients with prior thoracic or cervical spine surgery causing anatomical distortion. Patients with known congenital or acquired skeletal deformities involving ribs or cervical spine. Patients who do not provide consent for participation.

Diagnostic accuracy of AI-enhanced detection of cervical rib on chest X-ray (sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV and accuracy) compared with radiologist assessment/reference standardTimepoint: Assessed at baseline (at time of chest X-ray acquisition), with analysis at 4 weeks and final outcome assessment at 8 weeks.
