Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 18-65 years Patients undergoing laparoscopic appendectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age below 15 years. History of alcoholic liver disease. Presence of hemolytic or liver diseases associated with hyperbilirubinemia. History of gastrointestinal or hepatopancreatobiliary malignancy. Presence of autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and vasculitis which have elevated levels of CRP. COVID patients undergoing appendectomy
