Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18 65 years of either gender, belonging to ASA physical status I and II, scheduled for elective surgeries under general anaesthesia requiring succinylcholine for tracheal intubation, willing to provide written informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with ASA physical status III and above; patients undergoing emergency surgeries; patients with known hypersensitivity or contraindication to magnesium sulphate; patients with pre-existing neuromuscular or musculoskeletal disorders; patients receiving calcium channel blockers; patients with severe renal, hepatic, cardiac or respiratory disease; patients who have received analgesics within 24 hours prior to surgery.
