Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All preterm neonates between 32 weeks-36weeks+6days whose bilirubin value comes under phototherapy range in treatment threshold graph in NICE guidelines who are admitted in division of Neonatology, department of Pediatrics, Karnataka Medical college and research institute , Hubballi.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Neonates with direct hyperbilirubinemia, systemic illness, severe sepsis, severe respiratory disease requiring mechanical ventilation, oral intolerance, major gross congenital anomalies (gastrointestinal malformations, heart defects, neural tube defects and with identifiable genetic syndromes), and patients who refused to stay for the study duration were excluded from the study
