Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Students aged 18 to 30 years. Smartphone use for more than or equal to 1 year. Average daily smartphone usage of more than or equal to hours. Smartphone addiction identified using the Smartphone Addiction Scale Short Version SAS SV above the cut-off score. Self-reported neck pain and or headache associated with prolonged smartphone use. Willingness to participate and provide written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of neurological disorders. History of vestibular disorders or severe balance problems. History of cervical spine trauma fracture or surgery. Presence of systemic or musculoskeletal conditions affecting the neck or upper limb function. Individuals currently receiving physiotherapy or medical treatment for neck pain. Presence of red flag symptoms such as severe dizziness blackouts progressive neurological deficits or visual disturbances. Unwillingness to participate or inability to comply with the study protocol.
