Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All consenting adult patients withing the age range of 18-80 years undergoing elective Craniotomy.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a) Patients undergoing emergency neurosurgical procedure. b) Patients with prior history of frontal neurosurgical or facial procedures (since the skin scarring may impede the EEG readings) c) Patients with skin infection over the intended electrode placement d) Patients with ASA classes V (moribund patients) and VI (Brain dead patients).
