Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Endodontically treated posterior teeth with complex cavities Teeth in functional occlusion. Patients available for follow-up evaluation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Non restorable teeth with deep Subgingival margins. Teeth with active periodontal disease, mobility, or untreated periapical pathology. Patients with parafunctional habits and systemic conditions affecting oral healing.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Partial bonded ceramic restorations are expected to show high survival rates with minimal biological and mechanical complications. Timepoint: The Partial Bonded Restorations will be evaluated using modified United States Public Health Service (USPHS) criteria at Baseline, 3 months and 6 months of follow up period.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Awareness for partial bonded restorations are anticipated to be moderate to high, clinical preference may vary among different specialties. The study is expected to reinforce partial bonded restorations as predictable, conservative, & biologically favorable alternatives in contemporary practiceTimepoint: Awareness & clinical preference for partial bonded restorations is assessed with the help of a questionnaire form circulated amongst diiferent dental specialties over a period of 1 month
