Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age more than 18 years. 2.A known case of or a newly diagnosed case of OAD; including asthma, COPD and bronchiectasis, hospitalised for acute exacerbation (defined by more than or equal to 2 key symptoms worsening).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Immunocompromised status 2.Active lung malignancy or other malignancy 3.Pregnant or lactating women 4.Patients with underlying dyselectrolytemia 5.Current magnesium/vitamin D supplementation
